Day 121 of 365 Things to do in Stockton: San Francisco Giants Irish Heritage Night

Do you like live baseball?  How about beer?  It’s a good combination, and they can be both provided for you at the San Francisco Giants Irish Heritage Night Family Bus Trip.  Finnegan’s Pub and Grill has arranged a bus trip to the San Francisco Bay this Friday, August 27th.  The Giants are in the middle of a playoff race, so every game counts.  Head out and support the GIANTS!!!

The tickets are only $45!

Tickets can be purchased at Finnegan’s during normal business hours.

Day 29 of 365 Things to do in Stockton: UOP Baseball Games

Check out a game at the beautiful Klein Family Field.  The Pacific Tigers Baseball squad is having a successful season at 24-14.  They are 16-6 at home and 5-7 away.  There are 8

remaining home games so you still have an opportunity to see them hit the field.  Their next home game is this Wednesday, April 28th, against Santa Clara at 6pm.

Coached by Stockton’s own and MLB star Ed Sprague, the Tigers look to have a successful run at this years Big West Title.  They are currently in third place behind UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton.

Check out the upcoming home games.  You can even catch 3 games against 1st place Cal State Fullerton!  Come out and cheer on the Tigers as the try to gain ground against their So. Cal rivals.

Day 4 of 365: Play Ball! Banner Island Ballpark

Banner Island Ballpark, Home of the Stockton Ports Baseball team.  The Ports are a minor league team for the A’s organization.  Long time Stocktonians and minor leagues baseball fans know that Banner Island Ballpark is a HUGE upgrade from the old home of the ports, Billy Hebert Field.  Banner Island is much more intimate and it feels as if you are sitting right on the field and are part of the action.  read more »
