I was introduced this cool website by a client of mine.  The website, crimemapping.com provides you the ability to view crimes have taken place around a particular address.  It’s easy to use and highly informative.

The site is very beneficial to both home buyers and sellers in Stockton, Lodi.  At the moment only the City of Stockton Police department data is being reported.  The San Joaquin Sheriff has their own, difficult, non-user friendly site to search for data.

For home buyers in Stockton this lets you easily search what crimes have happen in the area of home your looking to buy.  You can search by week, month or longer period.

For Sellers who live in a low crime area, this is a great bonus or selling feature to show potential buyers, other agents who are looking at your home.  It would be great to have a report for buyers who are walking though your open house.
