Day 94 of 365 Things to do in Stockton: Bike Stockton

Get out and bike.  Stockton has many Levee’s and bike paths which you can cruise along.  Check out the current and future bike paths on this map, courtesy of VisitStockton.org.  Besides it being great exercise, it is also a fun activity to do with family and friends.

It’s a great time of year to take a ride in the evening along the Levee’s.  There are some beautiful sites out there along the delta, including wildlife, sunsets and more.  Check out Tyler cruising along the new Stockton Waterfront in downtown Stockton.

There are many marked bicycle paths through Stockton.  Here are few:

  • Calaveras River Bike path – From Arnold Rue Park to Buckley Cove – 5.68 miles
  • From Arnold Rue Park to Cherokee Road – 1.75 miles
  • From Buckley Cove and continuing east along the curved path to El Dorado Street
  • Weston Ranch Pacific Gas and Electric greenbelt easement – 1.75 miles
  • San Joaquin River Trail – 1,000 feet (another one mile is currently under construction)
  • Downtown Stockton Marina path
