Day 90 of 365 Things to do in Stockton: Oak Park Ice Arena

Summer has definitely arrived!  Looking for a great place to beat the heat.  Head on over to the Oak Park Ice Arena! Their website claims to be the “Coolest place in town” and I would have to agree.  One step inside the rink and you will forget it’s triple digits temperature outside.  I encourage you to check out the website it has all the information you need about the arena.

The Ice Arena is located on 3545 N. Alvarado St. right next to Oak Park.  They always have a number of events taking place.  One of their biggest summer events is the Iceland Ice Arena Benefit Show.  It takes place on July 31st and is to help raise money for the Sacramento historic arena.

The Ice Arena also offers Hockey programs, where youth and adults can learn the game of ice hockey.  If you feel like you have the hang of the game, they offer drop-in-hockey and stick and puck times where you can practice and play with others.
