For longer than I have been on this planet the Jewish Food festival has been taking place in Stockton at the Temple Israel. This year marks the 37th Annual Festival which will bring together people from all walks of life to enjoy the food and drink they provide.
It will be held this Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 9:30 A.M to 3:30 P.M. According to the food fair co- chair, Karen Foley “The most popular activity at the food fair is eating because the freshly made food is hard to find in local stores.” Choice of food is a bagel with lox and cream cheese or corned beef sandwich. Each selection is $10.00 which includes a deli brunch of cole slaw, kosher dill pickle, juice, tea or coffee.
Ever had a BBQ bagel? I didn’t know but this is a method to making them and will be there at the festival for you to try! Also on tap to be there will be live music, a silent auction and beer tasting from Valley Brew.
