Giving you another reason to venture Downtown and have a great time is Chitivas Salsa and Sports Bar and Grill. Chitivas is a Mexican bar and grill that brings fun and entertainment to the waterfront.  This restaurant, bar, and night club is located in the Warehouse building on the waterfront next to the new marina (check out Day 5 of 365 Things to do in Stockton).

On Tuesday’s, Chitivas brings in a jazz band which we were able to catch yesterday.  The smooth sounds of jazz was a pleasure to listen to while munching on a couple of $2 tacos.  This seems to be a popular night among locals as the drink and food specials add to the cover free night.  Come enjoy the jazz while gazing upon the marina and delta waterfront at sunset.

Chitivas seems to have and endless array of entertainers from Jazz, Latin music, comedy and more ready to entertain.  Take a look at their upcoming events.  The biggest upcoming event is taking place May 30th with the THE LATIN MAGIC BAND, COMEDY, and  DANCE Night. Kicking off the laughs is headliner Big Al Gonzales and Alicia Madrigal followed by the Latin Magic Band.
