The Downtown Stockton Marina and waterfront is a great place to take a bike ride(video below), walk the dog or stretch your sea Delta legs.  It is the season to get out and be a little more active, so take advantage of the beautiful setting of the waterfront.  The marina opened May 10th of 2009, so it is less than a year old.  The marina is just another example of how the City of Stockton has cleaned up the downtown area.

For all you boaters, the marina does provide up to 2 hours of free guest docks.  Just enough time to go to warehouse building and enjoy a meal at  Delights Cafe & Deli, Chitiva’s Salsa and Sports Bar & Grill, or Dok Shoons.  The marina provides daily rates for guest boaters if you are planning on staying longer than 2 hours.  I know what you are thinking!  Sorry, they are already booked for the Stockton Asparagus festival on April 23rd.
