Day 15 of 365 Things to do in Stockton: Swenson Park Golf

In honor of the Master’s Golf tournament in Augusta, GA over the weekend, I thought I would feature a local golf course in the hope to get you motivated to get out and hit the little white ball around.

Swenson Park golf has been one of Stockton’s most enjoyable golf courses since in opened in 1952!  Swenson Park Golf course has two great courses; the first is an 18 hole 72 par course that plays over 6700 yars.  The second is a great course for all beginners and those wanting to practice your short game.  It is a 9 hole par 3 course.  As a whole, Swenson has been voted one the best local courses of the past 10 years.

By the way, does anyone know what the course record is for Swenson? Please comment.

During the week you can play Swenson for $23.50 and the par 3 course for $15.00.

Great pick today! I’ve been playing Swenson a lot over the last year or so. Also, André’s Café is awesome!

I do not. It surely isn’t mine, though, that I can guarantee!
