Day 105 of 365 Things to do in Stockton: Waterloo Restaurant

The Waterloo Restaurant.  Yum.  If you have never been, I would suggest you try it very soon.  This long standing restaurant has been serving up BBQ style food since 1861.  If you have never been, this is definitely a things to do!

The Waterloo is a very popular place on Friday and Saturday nights, so there may be a small wait for a table.  The packed house on those nights adds to ambiance and excitement that make the Waterloo what it is.  The bar favors the SF Giants and 49ers by all the memorabilia, magazines, newspaper clippings, is fine by me.  However, they welcome all sports fans to this fine establishment, just be prepared for a GIANT scene.

The menu is large but many seem to always stick with the ribs.  I had the BBQ chicken, what was very tasty.  I have heard the pesto is AWESOME, and I will have to return to give it a try next time.  Check out the reviews on yelp. All of their great food is available for take too!  That’s great to know on those busy nights.

Check them out on Facebook!
