Joe Pomodoro’s Pizza cafe is a great spot that not to many people in Stockton know about. The pizza cafe offer some delicious pizza’s yet seems rather non-busy at times, which is surprising considering the quality of their food.
At Joe’s they cook the pizza right in front of you. They offer the classic “Margherita”(my favorite) made with fresh mozzarella and the finest olive oil to the “Hawaiian BBQ Chicken” piled high with grilled chicken and sweet pineapples and cooked to perfection in an authentic brick oven. Check out the rest of the menu! Also on the menu is Calzones, oven baked sandwiches, soup and salads.

Noah’s Bagel’s, in Lincoln Center, is one of my favorite spots. It’s rare that a national company of this size makes my list of things to do in Stockton. However Rich, the owner of Noah’s local Franchise manages the restaurant with great efficiency and provides a great spot for you and I to enjoy good food.
May favorite Bagel is an Whole Wheat Bagel with their Jalapeno Cream Cheese. Yum.
It’s quite relaxing to enjoy a bagel and coffee in the sunshine out on the patio as you sit and converse with friends, family, or whomever you enjoy company with. The food is good, consistent and inexpensive. What do you think about Noah’s? Do you enjoy it like I do?

Another good Japanese food restaurant that we often like to enjoy is Matsuyama. What I like about Maysuyama, is when I leave, I am pleasantly happy. The service is great, the price is fair, and the food is good. There’s not much more you can ask for than to be happy when leaving.
The only downside to the restaurant is that it is not set up for large parties. If you plan to take your family great, but for parties larger than 6 it may be a little cramped. However, for a nice dinner out with the family, this place is worth a shot.

The City of Stockton is holding a Skateboarding class! Students have the opportunity to learn basic/intermediate skills and safety tips. The class is held at the Anderson Skateboard Park starting this Saturday, April 2nd!
The Skateboard Park closed to public during class so you have free rein on the entire park. Helmet, knee and elbow pads required (Rentals available from instructor). Parent must register student and sign release form. This class meets on Saturdays April 2, 9, 16 and 23. Course fee is $40 per month for four weekly classes.

Yea, I know, we are living in a digital world. It’s very evident by the amount of people on Facebook, using ipods and ipad’s to conduct their lives. I’m guilty, I couldn’t do my business with the effectiveness as I do with out my iphone. So, why Rasputin Music, where music is sold in the old medium of CD’s and records. And movies in VHS? Because it’s cool and kind of relic, plus it’s a fun place to check out.
Besides it’s very inexpensive. There is a ton of used CD’s, DVD’s and VHS tapes for a lot less than you can buy them online. All you need to do is come home an copy the thing into itunes and now it’s digital. Anyway, If you haven’t check out Rasputin yet, it’s pretty cool. They also have cool posters and other movie memorabilia which can make for good gifts.

Papapavlos hasn’t always been in Lincoln Center. In fact the started as a little whole in the wall ini back of a center off Pacific Ave. Their great food has propelled them into what they are now.
Monday Wine Nights! Every Monday they feature a different winery. Go and enjoy dinner along with some fantastic wine specials showcasing a particular winery. Check the schedule for upcoming to see what wines they will be pouring.
The food is great. I have never had a bad item from the menu, so what ever looks good to you, will probably be good. For this reason, this is a must “thing to do” in Stockton.

Wow, another great Stockton Restaurant to choose from. Ghinggis Khan Mongolian BBQ, is located on Grand Canal Blvd, by the Hilton. What is so unique about Ghinggis Khan is you pick the food you want cooked and they prepare it for you in a giant cooktop right in front of you.
Come hungry because it is all you can eat meat, noodles, vegetables, and sauces. The food turns out to be pretty darn good for this moderately priced BBQ. Soup and Egg roll come with the meal, but the food is much better.

Looking for another great place to try? Toot Sweets Bakery Cafe makes the most delicious pastries, cookies, bagels and other homemade goodies. Since 1975, Toot Sweets has been making their food from scratch using all the freshest ingredients. Pair it with a cup of coffee or latte and enjoy.
I didn’t know they did this because I can never get past the pastries but Toot Sweet’s also caters! The will deliver sandwiches, wraps and more to any event you have upcoming.
They are located in the Quail Lakes Shopping center off of March ln next to 1-5. If you haven’t had a chance to try them, head on over and check them out.

One of my all time favorite foods is a nice and big Mexican Burrito. At the San Felipe Grill, you can order just that. I’m always tempted to try other foods but have a hard time straying from the favorites.
San Felipe Grill serves up some generous portion sizes and all for a decent cost. The reviews on yelp seems to be mixed but overall they have a 3.5 star rating. Most of the negative reviews are of the atmosphere or service, but most all say the food is very good.
